The Cottage

This cottage has been in Alex's family for over 100 years. Originally built in 1914 for Alex's great-great-grandfather, the cottage sits on the beaches of Lake Ontario, nestled in rural Northumberland County. Ever since its construction, descendants of Alexander Bryce have been spending summers at this cottage. Alex has been coming here since he was a child, as has Alex's father, and Alex's grandmother. We chose this site for our wedding due to its charm and its significance to the family. This will be the first time our humble cottage has seen guests from outside the family (with a few small exceptions) in many decades.

We will exchange vows in the intimate setting of the cottage's front lawn, with the stunning Lake Ontario as a witness to our special moment. Following the ceremony, celebrate with us in the expansive backyard of the cottage. With plenty of room to roam and enjoy the festivities, the tented lawn provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of fun and laughter.
